This is my page.  It is my goal for this site to be as full of information as possible.  It's pretty basic looking, but I think you will find that it is very useful.  You will find my syllabi, lab report guidelines, class notes and homework assignments, a virtual tutor, links to physics online resources,  practice tests, and more. Look around!

Virtual Tutor Users: to use the virtual tutor, you will need to download the video of your choice.  Depending on your internet connection, this may take a few minutes.  The videos are designed to take the student through some of the common physics problems that one encounters in each chapter.  Also, I am working on another method for the virtual tutor, using cartoon videos.  If you have a computer running Windows 2000 or lower, you may need to install the 2 characters, the SAPI program, and a voice engine from Microsoft.  If you are running windows 98 or lower, you will also need to install the core components. The virtual tutor page uses a program called Microsoft Agent, which is basically an interactive cartoon.  The downloads are totally free, take little time to download, and do not take up much space or junk up your computer.  All total they take up 5 MB, and only run on a webpage or program that has Microsoft Agent enabled.  The links are below:

Genie  (character)

Robby the Robot (character)

Download the Microsoft Agent core components  (Windows 98 or lower only)

Download the Microsoft SAPI 4.0a runtime binaries  (program)

Text-to-Speech engine  (voice engine)

Once you're done downloading and installing, go to the virtual tutor page and turn your speakers on.  If you see a genie pop up on the screen and talk, you did it right!
